Softwash

Softwashing is 100% safe for your roof IF the right people are doing it. Softwashing is an effective method for cleaning roofs because unlike traditional pressure washing, softwashing uses low pressure and a mixture of chemical cleaning solutions that remove algae, moss, and other debris. This process does not cause damage to the roof and it is approved by roofing manufacturers so that it will not affect your roof’s warranty.

The results will last for 1 to 3 years, depending on weather and precipitation in your area.

Prepare for the softwash by moving any furniture/electronics/appliances out of areas that may catch spray or dripping from the cleaning solutions and water. If there is anything built into the home exterior such as a “Ring” doorbell camera, we recommend tying a bag or protective cover around it.

For protecting plants, we overspray plants with normal water to dilute any potential chemicals. To go one step further, we also use a product called “Plant Protect” to neutralize the effects of our cleaning solutions, should they touch your plants.

Pressure Washing

Absolutely. Pressure washing can cause severe damage to the exterior of a home if the person using high water pressure is inexperienced or uneducated on the process.

Traditional pressure washing results typically last about 8 months to a year. However, when we pressure wash driveways, walkways, etc. we also use our softwash solutions which brighten, clean, and protect, as well as add an additional year or two to the spectacular visual results.

Similar to softwashing services, move any items away from the work/spray area, cover any items that cannot be moved, and point out to the wash technician any areas that may be cause for concern so that we can figure out the best way to provide the cleaning without causing any damage.

Roof Installation & Repair

Our labor warranty is a standard 1 year, but can be upgraded upon request. Our shingle manufacturers included a limited lifetime warranty that can be upgraded upon request as well.
Excessive shingle granule washout from your downspouts and heavy streaking/staining to the shingles are indicators that the shingles are beginning to fail. Weather events such as hurricanes, high winds and quarter-sized or larger diameter hail all shorten the lifespan of your roof system as well. Yearly inspections are recommended to make sure your homes’ first line of defense is operating as it should!
Homes that are 4000 sq.ft. or smaller typically take one day to fully replace the roof with asphalt shingles. Metal roofs could take up to a week or more depending on the homes’ roof layout.

Roof Coatings

Roof coatings come with a standard 10 year warranty but can be upgraded to a 15 or 20 year warranty upon request.
Yes, roof coatings can attribute a tax deduction up to 100% of the cost of the coating.
Roof coatings are an excellent way to fix leaks in flat or metal roofs. Rather than replacing the roof entirely, a coating repair can be performed to help with short term maintenance.
Roof coatings are normally cheaper to perform compared to fully replacing a flat roof or metal roof. Maintenance should be performed every 10-15 years to ensure a watertight seal for the life of the structure.
